Editing, Retouching & Delivery Information
This page outlines what is included in wedding photography and videography packages, what “edited” means, what gentle skin retouching involves, and how additional retouching, refinements, revisions, storage, and optional services are handled.
The intention is to ensure full transparency around workflow, expectations, and optional add-on services.
What “Edited” Means (Photography)
All delivered images are professionally edited for a polished, timeless finish.
Includes:
* Global colour correction and colour grading
* Exposure and contrast balancing
* White balance refinement
* Cropping and straightening where needed
* Consistent tonal style across the gallery
RAW (unprocessed) files are not delivered.
RAW files are unfinished digital negatives and do not represent the final style.
The delivered JPEG files represent the finished artistic product.
Gentle Skin Retouching (Included on All Images)
All delivered images receive gentle, natural skin retouching using modern AI-assisted tools.
Includes:
* Softening minor skin texture
* Reducing temporary blemishes
* Minimising redness and uneven tone
Designed to preserve real skin texture and look natural.
Beauty-style or intensive retouching is optional and charged separately.
Delivery Timeline
Photography gallery Within 6 to 8 weeks.
Videography Up to 12 weeks.
Sneak peeks may be delivered earlier at studio discretion.
Online Gallery
Prints, wall art, and custom photo albums can be ordered directly through the online gallery.
All print and album products are fulfilled by a professional third-party print lab.
Orders are placed through the gallery, professionally produced, and shipped directly to your nominated address.
Product availability, sizing, finishes, and turnaround times are determined by the print lab.
Refinement Edits (Included Allowance)
Up to 30 refinement requests per wedding.
Refinement edits include:
* Minor background distractions
* Flyaway hairs
* Small blemishes
* Minor exposure or colour tweaks
Requests must be submitted as one consolidated list.
Additional Retouching (Optional Add-On)
Complex edits such as:
* Removing guests or objects
$20 AUD per image
High-End Editorial / Beauty Retouching
Specialist retouching.
$40 AUD per image
Re-Edits & Style Adjustments
$15 AUD per image
RAW File Purchase
RAW files may be purchased as an optional add-on.
$999 AUD per wedding
RAW files are unedited digital negatives and do not represent the final artistic style or quality of the studio’s finished work.
The studio retains full copyright ownership of all RAW files.
Upon purchase, the client is granted a personal-use licence to possess and edit the RAW files for their own private use.
Once RAW files are delivered, the studio is not responsible for, and cannot be associated with, any third-party edits, colour grading, or modifications applied to those files.
The studio’s portfolio, branding, and reputation are based solely on the final edited JPEG images delivered by the studio.
RAW files may not be resold, sublicensed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Turnaround Time for Add-On Editing
Photography add-ons and re-edits 14 business days
Rounds of Revision (Photography)
One round included for paid retouching.
Additional rounds $5 AUD per image
Artistic Discretion
Clients acknowledge the photographer’s style and creative judgment.
Requests that fundamentally change lighting, anatomy, or scene reality may not be possible.
Editing Limitations
Some edits are technically possible only in specific situations and on a case-by-case basis.
Examples:
* Open-eye swaps may be possible if two images are taken from the same angle and moment
* Minor object or person removal may be possible with sufficient background information
Generally not possible:
* Changing facial expressions, position or angle.
* Changing head direction or body position
* Rebuilding missing background where no visual data exists
Requests involving these fall under advanced retouching or may not be achievable.
Culling & Image Selection
Image selection is at photographer discretion.
Duplicates and near-identical frames may be removed.
Lighting Environment Disclaimer
Mixed lighting conditions are a normal part of wedding days.
Some variation between scenes is expected.
Large Gallery Disclaimer
Not all images receive individual retouching.
Hero images receive additional refinement.
Online Gallery & File Storage (Photography)
Online galleries and download links are hosted for 12 months from delivery.
Clients must download and back up files immediately.
We recommend the 3-2-1 Backup Method:
* 3 copies
* 2 different storage types
* 1 off-site or cloud copy
After 12 months, files may no longer be available.
Videography Editing & Revisions
Editing Style
Films are edited in a cinematic storytelling style based on the studio portfolio.
Exact replication of other filmmakers’ styles is not guaranteed.
Music Selection & Copyright
Royalty-free licensed music is recommended.
If copyrighted music is chosen:
* Videos may be muted, blocked, or removed online
* Studio is not responsible for copyright claims
Music Changes After Editing
Once editing begins, film structure is built around the chosen song.
Changing the song requires a full re-edit.

Included Video Revisions
Two rounds of minor revisions included.
Minor revisions:
* Small trims
* Clip swaps
* Timing tweaks
Additional Video Revisions
$120 AUD per round
Structural Video Re-Edits
Major pacing, music change, or narrative restructuring.

Footage Selection
Clip selection at filmmaker discretion.
Not all footage is delivered.
Online Gallery & File Storage (Videography)
Films hosted for 12 months from delivery.

RAW Video Footage Purchase
RAW video footage may be purchased as an optional add-on.
$999 AUD
Raw video footage is captured in a flat, ungraded profile (S-Log3) and does not represent the final colour, contrast, audio balance, or storytelling quality of the studio’s finished films.
The studio retains full copyright ownership of all raw footage.
Upon purchase, the client is granted a personal-use license to possess and edit the raw footage for their own private use.
Once raw footage is delivered, the studio is not responsible for, and cannot be associated with, any third-party edits, colour grading, audio work, or modifications applied to that footage.
The studio’s portfolio, branding, and reputation are based solely on the final edited films delivered by the studio.
